Dear Cowtown folks, I was trying to remember who I bought these stamps from, and finally I found your name. Cat postage "Scratching Post", Kitten letters "J" and "G", Noel Tree. They are the best stamps I've ever bought. The "scratching post" is a pure delight, and my friends love it. Sometimes a fish goes in the middle, sometimes a little smiling crab. The JG is my logo, mounted permanently and used on everything I send out, especially my Christmas cards, which are made from the Noel tree. I need to make some more and send you one. Hi! Just want to let you know the order arrived in tip-top shape. Thanks for putting the cloud template in a heavy envelope with faux leather -- I don't think they'd have fared so well if you didn't. I tried the heat-it tool and can't believe the combination of heat and blessed QUIET compared to what I've been using! Thanks for making this available. Hi Laurel, I just got home and have been dying to tell you how WONDERFUL those books are! I love them and am so glad I participated! I'm anxious to try out the techniques and am thoroughly impressed at the talent everyone has. I've see so many cards at your shop and thought, I'd love to do that, but I'd get home and forget what I saw exactly, let alone how to do it. Now I have these books right at my side and can try one technique at a time! Yes, yes, yes. If there is a book in the future, count me in. I've been doing cards with pressed flowers and have found the perfect plastic to enclose them (so they don't get damaged on the card through handling--and it makes them look more elegant, too). I'd be happy to do that for my page. Or, I could do something else, too. Anyway, let me know if you plan to organize anything else. My stamps have arrived already! Thank you so much for the quick service and for the free-bees, which are going to be very useful to me. Most of the stamps I ordered were unmounted, but backed with adhesive, and ready to place on a wooden block. I just love the way you cut so closely around the stamps. Other stamp companies surround the design with a large piece of rubber, and the edge of the rubber sometimes gets stamped onto the card, too. So I usually spend a lot of time cutting away the excess rubber from new stamps. (It's a little difficult since the stamps arrive mounted; few companies sell them unmounted.) You have saved me the trouble. I'm telling my stamping friends about CowTown Stamps! Thank you for being such a great company to deal with. Peggy--Jan. 2003

Hi! I had to send you a picture of what I made with the spray
webbing. I absolutely love this stuff! The scan didn't really do
justice to the background color - a deep hunter green - it almost
looks black. Is this something you always keep in stock? The
foil works great too. I also did one in black, white and gold with

     At Laurel's (booth) I bought two Stamplets sets which are put out by Sculpey and contain the clay, stamps, and stencils to make some cool pins. I really want to try clay. I also picked up some Halo's loop and a couple replacement Glitter pens that I needed. Laurel was demoing a cool new faux leather that she has and our very own Deb was demoing the Marvey Metallic background technique.

Hi Laurel! Just wanted to say it was a pleasure to find your store and meet

Hi Laurel, The eyelets came yesterday. I wanted to let you know that you
really need to mail these in a padded envelope. The envelope the eyelets
were in was processed through the PO machines and even with the buble wrap,
some were a little crimped and the paint had scratched off. The plastic
baggie had holes throughout both sides as evidence the padding even with a
little buble wrap in a regular envelope is really not enough to protect the
eyelets. Any metal can rip an envelope open and you are taking chances that
the product will not get torn open.
I wanted to let you know of the problem so you would avoid mailing these out

Your Priority Mail envelope, postmarked March 12, arrived yesterday, March 14. I use Priority Mail a lot, it's good service. LOVE my stamps - thank you! I like them so much that I brought some of them to work with me to show my co-workers. (I've gotten some of them interested in stamping, most just enjoy my humorous postcards, but several like to look at new stamps when I get them.) Of course the beagle is my favorite; everyone ooh'ed and ahh'd over "Emma". I also brought the Cow Crossing stamp with me as I'll be using it right away on my lunch hour to make postcards to send to my farming relatives back home. I'll try to photocopy the snapshots I have mounted on the wall above my desk at work as they are of our farm, and one is the "farmer crossing" sign at the entrance to the farm. Although I loved the rest of the stamps I ended up ordering, the Cow Crossing was the first I-must-have-that stamp that made me begin writing up the order. I will put you on my "mailing list" and will send you copies of cards I make using your stamps, as well as occasional others (using other stamps) that demonstrate my kind of stamping. I brought your stamp of the rabbit stamping to add to my office drawer filled with stamping and other images that I use on the outside of envelopes or for a quick postcard when I want to make something on my lunch hour to send that day. I love the saluting flag and have already put it in my box of patriotic/July 4 stamps. Flag Day is coming in June; I always make cards for that. I have an "It's a grand old flag!" phrase stamp, also "Stars & Stripes Forever", both of which will be great with your stamp. The cows are great, and the fish phrase will give me something to use with all my unused fish stamps. Thank you for letting me order the Mason jar "alone" without the firefly. I already have two jars, but liked yours better
recently received some that looked as if they'd been assembled by a first grader. Two have areas where there is no cushion under the die. Since they were $8 and $7 stamps respectively, I intend to write to the company about it. YOUR stamps are a delight, fun images and excellent assembly. Laurel, Yes... I think the "Stamp 2 cards" would look great with a get well set.
That's something I don't have alot of is "Get Well" type of stamps. I hope
that you can use some of those sayings... you are more than welcome!! It's
nice that there is someone out there that listens and hopefully will profit

I think I actually got it on Saturday, but I live in an apt. complex and the mail man won't deliver to our door and since our apt. office was closed on Sat. I didn't get to pick it up today. The stamps came today. The cattitude verse will go well with the kitty you
sent. I like the neat little flower too! Thanks so much. Now I have to
decide who gets the other verse--I think it's going to a cat who will have
to share with his human. Not only does he have cattitude, he puts out a
newsletter both on line and hard copy! Hope I get some energy back soon
after this dratted flu so I feel like doing something when I get home from
work besides crashing. I think next month I will have to invest in some of
your acrylic blocks and vinyl cling. At the rate I'm going with unmounteds

Dear Laurel, Thanks for your reply. You won't believe what happened today. I was on the phone with our post office, wending my way through "menu
selections", and finally got to speak to an actual person about our
missing carved reindeer stamp. She was telling me how, unfortunately, it
couldn't be traced, could be anywhere, lots of things could have gone
wrong, etc., etc. She was very sympathetic, but still, nothing could be
done. While I was on the phone, the mail arrived here. When I got off
the phone I started to look through the mail and---lo and behold---an
envelope from CowTown stamps! So, the long and the short of it is, the stamp arrived today, January 2,
200l. (And a marvellous stamp it is, too. I can hardly wait to try it
